National Seminar with the theme Building Agricultural Creativity and Innovation to Realize Sustainable Development Goals in the 5.0 Era

On November 3, 2023, the Faculty of Agriculture, especially the Agrotechnology Study Program, held an annual event that was eagerly awaited, namely the 2023 Agrotechnology Creativity Week (PANDA) under the auspices of the HIGROLOGY student association. This event was held with the aim of fostering creativity and innovation among students, lecturers, and agricultural practitioners in facing challenges in the modern era.

PANDA 2023 presents various competitions that not only test the technical abilities of participants in the agricultural sector, but also emphasize aspects of innovation and creativity. Some of the competitions held include the Photography Competition, Essay Competition, Digital Poster Competition, Tic Tac Toc Competition, Relay Competition and Smart Careful Cheerful Competition.

In addition to the competition, PANDA 2023 also presents a National Seminar with a relevant and visionary theme, namely “Building Agricultural Creativity and Innovation to Realize Sustainable Development Goals in the 5.0 Era”. This seminar presents experts and practitioners from various fields, including academics, researchers, and entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector. This seminar aims to explore new potentials in agriculture that not only focus on production, but also on the sustainability and well-being of the global community.

 

Through this event, it is hoped that various innovations that can be applied practically to overcome agricultural challenges in the 5.0 era and support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By combining the spirit of competition, learning, and collaboration, the Agrotechnology Creativity Week 2023 is not only an annual celebration, but also an important stepping stone on the journey to more innovative and sustainable agriculture.

About Faperta UNPAD

The Faculty of Agriculture, Unpad, was established on September 1, 1959. At the beginning of its formation, this faculty only held two study programs, namely Agricultural Engineering and Agricultural Socioeconomics. In line with the development of the times, this faculty now holds two undergraduate study programs (S1), namely agrotechnology and agribusiness. In addition, this faculty holds a master's program (S2), agricultural economics and soil science, and a doctoral program (S3), Agricultural Science.
