Di tengah tantangan tersebut, para peneliti mulai menyoroti potensi besar dari <strong data-start=\"475\" data-end=\"501\">senyawa bioaktif alami<\/strong>, khususnya yang berasal dari tanaman Indonesia, sebagai agen <em data-start=\"563\" data-end=\"572\">adjuvan<\/em> untuk meningkatkan efikasi terapi dan mengurangi toksisitas.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"635\" data-end=\"676\">Mengapa Bioaktif Alami dari Indonesia?<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"678\" data-end=\"1003\">Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara dengan keanekaragaman hayati terbesar di dunia. Dari ribuan spesies tanaman yang tumbuh, banyak yang telah digunakan dalam <strong data-start=\"839\" data-end=\"865\">pengobatan tradisional<\/strong> dan kini mulai mendapatkan perhatian ilmiah sebagai sumber <strong data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"948\">senyawa anti-kanker<\/strong> seperti flavonoid, terpenoid, alkaloid, dan polifenol.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1005\" data-end=\"1193\">\n<p data-start=\"1007\" data-end=\"1193\">\u201cKombinasi kemoterapi dan senyawa bioaktif alami terbukti tidak hanya menekan pertumbuhan sel kanker, tetapi juga menurunkan resistensi sel terhadap obat,\u201d <em data-start=\"1163\" data-end=\"1192\">(Meiyanto &amp; Larasati, 2019)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2 data-start=\"1195\" data-end=\"1248\">1. Meningkatkan Efikasi Kemoterapi melalui Sinergi<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1250\" data-end=\"1370\">Banyak studi menunjukkan bahwa senyawa bioaktif mampu <strong data-start=\"1304\" data-end=\"1369\">meningkatkan sensitivitas sel kanker terhadap obat kemoterapi<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1372\" data-end=\"1886\">\n<li data-start=\"1372\" data-end=\"1535\">\n<p data-start=\"1374\" data-end=\"1535\"><strong data-start=\"1374\" data-end=\"1386\">Curcumin<\/strong> dari <em data-start=\"1392\" data-end=\"1407\">Curcuma longa<\/em> (kunyit) menunjukkan efek sinergis dengan 5-FU pada kanker kolorektal.<br data-start=\"1478\" data-end=\"1481\" \/><em data-start=\"1483\" data-end=\"1535\">(Redondo-Blanco et al., 2017; Illian et al., 2021)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1539\" data-end=\"1711\">\n<p data-start=\"1541\" data-end=\"1711\"><strong data-start=\"1541\" data-end=\"1554\">6-Shogaol<\/strong>, senyawa aktif dari jahe (<em data-start=\"1581\" data-end=\"1602\">Zingiber officinale<\/em>), mempercepat induksi apoptosis ketika dikombinasikan dengan doxorubicin.<br data-start=\"1676\" data-end=\"1679\" \/><em data-start=\"1681\" data-end=\"1711\">(Wanandi &amp; Maghdalena, 2023)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1713\" data-end=\"1886\">\n<p data-start=\"1715\" data-end=\"1886\"><strong data-start=\"1715\" data-end=\"1727\">Xanthone<\/strong> dari manggis (<em data-start=\"1742\" data-end=\"1763\">Garcinia mangostana<\/em>) berpotensi sebagai penghambat proliferasi leukemia dan meningkatkan kerja obat kimia.<br data-start=\"1850\" data-end=\"1853\" \/><em data-start=\"1855\" data-end=\"1886\">(Gondokesumo &amp; Novilla, 2025)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"1888\" data-end=\"1932\">2. Mengurangi Efek Samping dan Toksisitas<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1934\" data-end=\"2048\">Salah satu daya tarik utama senyawa alami adalah <strong data-start=\"1983\" data-end=\"2034\">kemampuannya memodulasi efek samping kemoterapi<\/strong>, antara lain:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2050\" data-end=\"2562\">\n<li data-start=\"2050\" data-end=\"2213\">\n<p data-start=\"2052\" data-end=\"2213\"><strong data-start=\"2052\" data-end=\"2064\">Piperine<\/strong> dari <em data-start=\"2070\" data-end=\"2084\">Piper nigrum<\/em> berfungsi sebagai bioenhancer, meningkatkan penyerapan obat dan mengurangi dosis yang diperlukan.<br data-start=\"2182\" data-end=\"2185\" \/><em data-start=\"2187\" data-end=\"2213\">(Wiraswati et al., 2025)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2215\" data-end=\"2391\">\n<p data-start=\"2217\" data-end=\"2391\"><strong data-start=\"2217\" data-end=\"2258\">Sea cucumber glycosaminoglycan (hGAG)<\/strong> dari teripang laut Indonesia mengurangi kerusakan sel sehat dan meningkatkan efektivitas cisplatin.<br data-start=\"2358\" data-end=\"2361\" \/><em data-start=\"2363\" data-end=\"2391\">(Nurhidayati et al., 2025)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2393\" data-end=\"2562\">\n<p data-start=\"2395\" data-end=\"2562\"><strong data-start=\"2395\" data-end=\"2425\">Garcinia cowa bark extract<\/strong> meningkatkan efektivitas sitotoksik doxorubicin pada kanker payudara, sambil menurunkan kerusakan sel normal.<br data-start=\"2535\" data-end=\"2538\" \/><em data-start=\"2540\" data-end=\"2562\">(Ifora et al., 2025)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"2564\" data-end=\"2614\">3. Mekanisme Aksi: Menarget Hallmarks of Cancer<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2616\" data-end=\"2657\">Banyak senyawa alami bekerja dengan cara:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2659\" data-end=\"2871\">\n<li data-start=\"2659\" data-end=\"2692\">\n<p data-start=\"2661\" data-end=\"2692\">Menghambat angiogenesis tumor<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2693\" data-end=\"2756\">\n<p data-start=\"2695\" data-end=\"2756\">Meningkatkan aktivasi jalur apoptosis (kematian sel kanker)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2757\" data-end=\"2789\">\n<p data-start=\"2759\" data-end=\"2789\">Mengganggu siklus sel kanker<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2790\" data-end=\"2871\">\n<p data-start=\"2792\" data-end=\"2871\">Menurunkan ekspresi protein anti-apoptotik seperti Bcl-2 <em data-start=\"2849\" data-end=\"2871\">(Iksen et al., 2024)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2873\" data-end=\"3041\">Beberapa studi bahkan menggabungkan pendekatan in silico untuk memetakan interaksi molekuler senyawa ini dengan target spesifik sel kanker <em data-start=\"3012\" data-end=\"3040\">(Shrihastini et al., 2021)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3043\" data-end=\"3090\">4.
